A retrofit conversation is most useful when it starts with a clear picture of the instrument you already use. Before discussing new features, bring together the details that explain your current setup and the work it needs to support.
1. Identify the complete system
Record the manufacturer, model and serial number. Include any accessories, recording system or changes made since the instrument was installed. A model name alone may not describe the complete configuration.
2. Show the instrument as it is today
Provide clear photographs of the instrument, its controls, nameplate and recording equipment. Where you are unsure about a component, include a photograph rather than guessing its identity.
3. Describe the outcome you want
Explain how the instrument fits into your testing workflow and what you want to improve. Include the materials you test, how you currently record results and any constraints on changing the process.
4. Confirm compatibility before ordering
Digitron is intended for selected traditional testing systems. Compatibility depends on the instrument and its configuration. GRS can discuss whether a retrofit may be appropriate once the details are available.
A useful first enquiry includes your country, instrument details, photographs and a short description of your intended workflow.
